Software Migration
In the upcoming months, there will be a pause on custom orders as I will be migrating software for all my designs. This includes all physical goods in the shop: dashboards, covers, and planner pages. Printable PDFs available for download will remain active along with any items that have been successfully migrated. Products that are undergoing the migration will be inactive until they are ready to be active again and available for purchase again. As for the processing timeframe, all orders will be fulfilled as promised, as always!
If you have had prior custom pages designed by me, I highly recommend that you keep a sample of it on hand to reference to as a sample for re-creating for your future custom needs. All older templates will no longer be accessible beginning October 1st, 2026. There are many templates to be recreated during the migration process, and custom templates are not guaranteed to make the cut during this extensive migration process and will only be recreated upon request once the shop is ready to take on custom orders again.
First-Time Grandma
Even though I want to show off her cute face, for her safety and respect for her parents’ wishes, I will not be able to reveal her face. She looks so much like my baby photos with cute pigtails.
For a little over a year now, I have had the best blessing in becoming a first-time grandma! I’m officially a Jee-Jee now.
While my husband and sons renovate a new living quarter in the empty attic space, my son and daughter-in-law have moved in with us temporarily until the project is complete for their little family to move into. Okay, I’ll be honest. I’m not doing the heavy labor of renovating. Instead, I’m the one deciding on the fun aspects of choosing the paint colors, floors, sink vanities, cabinets, etc. Doing what I do best: pulling the designs together to create a cohesive flow and an effective living space for daily household navigation.
During the renovation process, I have been beyond blessed to spend every day capturing all the silly moments with my granddaughter, Anya. She loves to sing, dance, stroll outdoors, and go through all my pens, highlighters and other pen-snob accessories, just to rearrange them to her personal liking. The songs playing in my office are no longer from my playlist, but from Anya’s playlist. She loves to sing along to lullabys and even Kpop songs from BTS and “Free” from Kpop Demon Hunters. But the best sound lately in my office is the little pitter-patter of her tiny feet walking throughout the house, from her mom’s workstation to my office and back. She acts like she owns the whole house, even my office! But one thing I cannot deny is that she owns my heart.
To think that many of my customers have been with me from Day-1 when my sons were still in school, to now having adult sons, a treasured daughter-in-law, and now a little tiny princess granddaughter who has stolen all of our hearts. Thank you, everyone, for allowing my planning pages to be a part of your lives over the years, from my motherhood stage to my new grandma status.
Living Kidney Donor
Decades ago, my late father successfully received a kidney at UW Health and lived for over two decades because of that generous gift of donation. Because of that, he was able to care for us throughout our school years, walk us down the aisle, and meet our children before going home to be with the Lord in 2012. The UW Health facility has changed over the years, but their expertise is only getting better. I trust that my sister and I will be in good hands at UW Health.
If all goes well, I will become a Living Donor in the next few months! Last year, one of my sisters was diagnosed with end-stage renal disease. She had never thought to ask any one of us siblings for a kidney donation. But all of us siblings had already decided on our own that we would get tested to first see if we are a matching blood type. We have been together through thick and thin, and we are determined to go through this alongside her. What are siblings for, right?
Out of the 7 of us siblings, 5 were a match. 2 did not meet the initial qualifications. The other 3 were two other siblings plus me. One of my younger sisters, the first preferred candidate, eventually was taken off the consideration list for her health interest. That placed me as the next preferred candidate. So last month, I went to UW Health in Madison, Wisconsin to do my medical, surgical, social, and psychological evaluation. I have never been through so many bloodwork, urine labs, genetic testing, CT scans, x-rays, and more! Being in my mid-40s, I was worried that I would be eliminated along the way if they find any health issues that I was not aware of. After they collected all test results, my donor coordinator presented me to the committee for review. To my relief, I was found to be healthy and was considered a great candidate! All other tests such as pap smear, mammogram, and colonoscopy showed no signs of concerns either. All my organs have sufficient blood-flow and are functioning well and healthy. And my anatomy is good enough for them to perform a robot-assisted laparoscopy on my left kidney for donation. The only one stipulation before getting the green light to do surgery is to first undergo genetic counseling, since the cause of my sister’s kidney failure and my late father’s kidney failure are unknown. I’m looking forward to the upcoming genetic counseling, and will be traveling back to Wisconsin in October 2026 for that appointment. If all goes well, I am hoping to donate soon! During recovery, the shop will be placed on vacation mode. Until then, I will be busy at work, designing and creating planner pages to help you keep your life together and your goals in full focus!
